Quick Help Guide

Email set-up

Not sure how to set up your email account that you have purchased through Oraco Solutions?  Don’t worry we are here to help with the following guides, or if you would prefer that our team remote into your system and set this up for you, (excluding mobile devices) please submit a support ticket here

Business Email Hosting Only.

With or without SSL.  We recommend using the SSL setting to avoid any conflicts with your mail client.

Username: Always Full Email Address

NON-SSL Settings

imap.yourdomainname.co.nz/com Port 465
pop.yourdomainname.co.nz/com Port 110
smtp.yourdomainanme.co.nz/com Port 25

SSL Secure Settings

us2.imap.mailhostbox.com Port 993
us2.pop.mailhostbox.com Port 995
us2.smtp.mailhostbox.com Port 587

Use TLS/SSL when using SSL secure settings, if TLS/SSL doesn’t work with your client use STARTTLS

If you are having password issues, visit your webmail and use the forgot password option avaiable to reset your password.  The URL will be http://webmail.yourdomainname.co.nz/com.

If you wish to have personalise SSL settings and secure webmail, a secure ticket will need to be purchased and applied to your account.  You can request this through our suport ticket system here.

The above settings will be the same for your mobile device, by default most devices will use IMAP as your default setting. If you use the wizzard to configure your email on your device the non-ssl settings will be applied.  We recommend setting up your device manually using the above SSL secure settings unless you have your own installed SSL certificate.

Steps for iPhone or iPad

Web Hosting Email Set Up.

NON-SSL Settings

Username: Full Email Address
Password: Use the email accounts password
Incoming Server: mail.yourdomainname.co.nz
IMAP Port: 143 POP3 Port: 110
Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomainame.co.nz
SMTP Port: 587
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.

SSL Secure Settings

Username: Full Email Address
Password: Use the email accounts password
Incoming Server: mail.yourdomainname.co.nz
